Newstead Abbey May 2010

This event was run on similar lines to previous visits. The French camp was set up behind the Abbey next to the battlefield. there was a good turnout and reasonable numbers despite the weather being both cold and wet. There was a good living history display and some scenarios were played out to entertain the public. In the afternoon a skirmish took place which we won on the Sunday and lost on the Monday.
